Antico Podere Marciano

This beautiful historical residence was originally built during the 11th century. The careful restoration carried out in 2003 has brought back to life this splendid rural villa perfect for very small and intimate weddings,. During the restoration works all modern comforts were added, while the original Tuscan essence of the property was safeguarded: wood beamed ceilings, cotto flooring, and stone walls. The result is a a charming, rustic, yet fine B&B in the heart of the Chianti region.

Charming Location

Due to its reduced size and cozy atmosphere, the charming B&B Antico Podere Marciano is particularly suitable for small weddings, up to max. 35 persons. Podere Marciano wedding venue has seven bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom and full services. Three rooms have breathtaking view onto the Val d’Elsa, right in the heart of the Chianti region.

Wonderful Place

The living area includes a large lounge with rural style fire-place, a dining room connected to the veranda, restored according to the Tuscan tradition, and with breathtaking landscape. The two main highlights of Podere Marciano are the spectacular sunsets and the quiet.
The infinity swimming pool (16×8 meters) is surrounded by the typical Tuscan cypresses and let you enjoy silence immersed in nature

Antico Podere Marciano specializes in organizing highly personalized small intimate weddings, allowing the bride and groom the freedom to plan their own perfect day.

Whether a classic, formal reception or a more rustic and informal event, we provide assistance with planning and defining of all the details:

The time and setting of the ceremony (religious, civil, outdoor blessing)
The number of guests
The style of reception
Liaising with professional caterers – Podere Marciano offers the expertise of professional caterers. They are very flexible and work hard to meet the bridal couple’s needs and requests.
Full bridal menu – including wedding cake and full service – from Euro 80,00 per person

Each event at our villa is a unique and personal experience and we are pleased to work with the bride and groom to ensure that it meets their expectations and that whatever the style of their wedding, the result is effortless and elegant.

Minimum Stay: 3 Nights

Accommodation prices (for 7 rooms, 3 nights, incl. breakfast):

Euro 3.100,00 in high season (May 20th to Sept. 18th)
Euro 2.650,00 (for 7 rooms, 3 nights, incl. breakfast) in mid-season (Sept. 19th to October 16th)
Reduced rates for longer stays.

Exclusive use of venue for wedding reception:

Up to 23 people Euro 420,00 from 24 to 35 people: Euro 600,00

Fee for property owner co-ordination with professional service providers and bridal couple before and on wedding day: Euro 350,00

Additional wedding services on request:

Florist (arranging flowers and decorations)
Hair and make-up for the bride
Baby-sitting during wedding reception
Professional wedding planner (offering the possibility to plan your wedding day in all details)
Assistance with paperwork both for religious and civil weddings

Extras:

Possibility of independent kitchen use by guests during their stay: Euro 400,00
Transfer from and to airport/nearby accommodation
Welcome dinner and/or other meals for Antico Podere Marciano guests provided by property owner
